Recent pictures

These pictures were taken on Easter Sunday, at Grandma Cooley's house.

Andy looks like he is deep in thought here, but in all actuality, he's scoping out the landscape for the Easter eggs that had been carefully hidden by his Dad, Aunt Pam, & Grandma.

This photo of Sarah was taken just before we unleashed the hounds...er, rather the kids for the egg hunt in Grandma's yard!! She didn't find the most eggs this year, but the eggs she did find contained the most loose change, so it my book, that makes her a winner!

And as I've said in many previous postings of mine, my children are willing hard workers....
For anyone but their dear old mother!! As you can see, Sarah is smiling while she dries the dishes from Easter dinner. I must add that she did not complain one tiny little bit. Unlike her almost 14 year old cousin, who complained about having to put her precious little hands in dirty dish water, and at one point kind of snapped at Sarah for taking too long to dry. I had no problem telling Kayla that she was spoiled...which she is.

And last, but not least, my hard working boy!! Brian tilled his mom's garden, and Andy raked the entire thing. It's roughly half the size of mine. But my little man raked and smoothed out his Grandma's garden willingly, and without being told to do so. He also didn't expect to be paid for his hard work, unlike Kayla's younger brother, Ben, who raked all of 5 minutes and asked how much he was going to be paid for his "work." As you might imagine, that didn't go over very well at all!! I'm just glad it wasn't Andy who asked about being paid!!
